With TMS you'll receive same-day quotations on all parts
inspections. Touchstone is about the meaning of a contract measuring
service; precision, standards, service, inspection and certification; not
the interpretation!
TMS can perform independent part inspection, or inspection based
on customer-supplied CAD database specifications. We are often called upon
to act as an independent testing lab, verifying part specifications for
molds and samples made overseas.
Parts Inspection: Tools of the Trade
The primary measurement tool used by Touchstone is the CMM, or Coordinate Measuring Machine. [Also known as CNC/CMM]. We use
measuring equipment by Mitutoyo,
considered a leader in measuring equipment worldwide. Their precision
equipment can measure to +/- .002".
