What are the unique features or characteristics of thermoplastic injection molded products?

Injection molding is a widely used, economical process for manufacturing a variety of parts, from the smallest component to entire body panels of cars. It is the most common method of production, with some commonly made items including bottle caps and outdoor furniture.

The injection molding process offers the lowest piece prices available. Thermoplastic parts can be manufactured in a wide range of colors, and may be produced with two or more colors. They can be welded ultrasonically, with no additional glues or adhesives, heated, re-molded, melted and recycled, properties not available with all injection molded plastics.
